As disappointing as this development is, it does not diminish BDA’s efforts to work with Congress to permanently increase the annual volume limit for bank-qualified bonds. Currently, legislation is pending in both the Senate (S. 1016) and House (HR 5705) to do just that-and BDA will continue to educate and push Members of Congress to address this important issue.
